We are looking for our next DBA SQL server:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related;
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Data Management and Analytics;
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with a focus on SQL Server;
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server versions (2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and above);
- Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading SQL Server instances;
- Proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL) for database administration and development;
- Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance;
- Experience in performance tuning of queries and indexes;
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies using native SQL Server tools and third-party solutions;
- Knowledge of high availability solutions, such as Always On Availability Groups, failover clustering, and database mirroring;
- Knowledge of SQL Server security practices, including access control, data encryption, and auditing;
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automating administrative tasks;
- Experience with tools such as SQL Server Agent for job scheduling and automation;
- Experience with monitoring and management tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Profiler, and third-party tools like Redgate or SolarWinds;
- Ability to diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues in the database;
- Ability to solve complex problems and make informed decisions in critical situations.
- Fluent in English.
